To answer your question about Star Trek Online, Cross....
It's different! It's good but it's not GREAT... YET.
Space Combat is awesome, ship design is cool, character creation is very cool. Being able to make a new type of "alien" that nobody else can have is very cool! Episodes (Quests) are pretty good. Have run across some Quests that have stuff from the TV Series or movies in them, which was pretty cool. Cryptic didn't expect all the people that where going to play Beta, so they had some server problems at 1st and bad lag. They updated the servers and have minimal server problems now. Usually it will only go down for about 1 hour lately.
Graphics aren't bad. It's not as good as LotRO, but it's better than most MMOS.
It does have its share of issues though... bugs, some things need to be tweaked more, needs more polish, it seemed it was a little rushed.
But it's not a WoW Clone like War, Conan, and LotRO. It's different and it has a ton of potential!
If you guys want, I have the CE Coming Tues that comes with 3 passes for 10days of free time, and I think I have couple left if anyone wants it. Let me know!
I made it to Commander Grade 2 (Level 22 in WoW Terms I think). STO has Ranks and Grades kind of like the military. Ensign (rank 0) then Lt., Lt. Commander, Commander, Captain, Admiral (or Rear Admiral I think they are changing the rank, but not sure). Each Rank has 10 grades.
Level cap is 45. (Admiral Rank, grade 5)
And I will post pics next. I will show you my DPS baby! It’s the ship I had in Open Beta. (It is a Heavy Escort ship Tier 2)

looks pretty cool. I am glad you are enjoying it. Miss you in wow and on vent but change is good. If I ever quit wow I might check it out but right now I am happy with wow and the new changes and all.
I agree it looks good, not really in a position to start a new game but if I do I wouldn't mind looking into a game like that. We do miss you on vent though, can't you just join vent and still play Star Trek? _________________
Oh and I did get into the Beta for Battlefield Bad Company 2. Didn't care for it!! I couldn't belive I didn't like it! Maybe I just need to play it more... dunno. I still want 1943 damn it!
IF anyone wants the Beta key for BFBC2 let me know....

Just come on vent now and then. I think I am going to get bfbc2 with nuts and try it. It has been too long since I played a fps. I know it is not dc but same guys from dice are doing it so I have some hope. Either way the fear is that these 12 yr olds will make me feel like everyone is hacking lol.
